Beam weapons are one of the three weapon types used in Galactic Civilizations III. Generally consuming in their construction or augmentation, beam weapons are by default mid-range ( Elerium+1000 ), moderate cooldown ( Beam Range+5 ) and perfectly accurate ( Beam Cooldown+100% ). Their defensive counter is Beam AccuracyShields.
